Alicia is originally from New York City and moved to Florida when she was 14 years old. She has been singing and playing piano from a very young age. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Exceptional Student Education and a minor in Music. She is a K-12 certified music teacher as well as a certified K-12 special education teacher.
Alicia plays and teaches Voice and Piano at BÂ Amazing Music and is currently a teacher for Lake County Schools. She also plays handbells, guitar and drums. Alicia has worked with several choral directors in the area and has served as a music volunteer and guest teacher. She has 10 years of experience teaching special education and 5 years teaching music.
She is very passionate about both music and teaching and has experienced music helping her in SO MANY areas of her life. She also believes music has so many positive benefits for children, including helping to build teamwork, fostering self-esteem and self-confidence, it even helping students excel in other subject areas.
