Emily Barbery

Piano & Voice

Emily has been playing piano for sixteen years, beginning at the age of five. She grew up listening to her parents play drums, piano, and various other percussion instruments, eventually learning to play quite a few herself. She continued her studies in music in middle and high school after joining her school’s concert, symphonic, and marching bands.

After high school, she continued her practice in competitive indoor percussion, playing marimba,  vibraphone, xylophone and other keyboard  instruments all over Florida. She began teaching in  February of 2020, following the end of the  competitive season in 2019.
