Teresa Boone

Violin, Viola & Piano

Teresa has been playing violin, viola, and piano from a young age. She began her journey teaching music while still in high school. In middle school, she fell in love with the violin when she saw videos of the many great virtuosos of the 20th-century. She has performed with Missouri All-State Orchestra, Alton Youth Symphony, and Alton Symphony as well as in local churches. While in high school, she studied under the Ariana String Quartet at University of Missouri - St. Louis.

In addition, Teresa has a love for Irish, Scottish, and Appalachian fiddle music, arranging pop, rock, and film music for strings, and teaching students of all ages to find their voice through music.
