Additional Information for Parents and Students of B Amazing Music
Read our 2025-2026 school year policies for B Amazing Music students and families.
To provide the best service possible, the following policies must be agreed and adhered to by our clients:
Timeliness: Because of unpredictable traffic, please be aware we may arrive 15 minutes early or 15 minutes late to your scheduled lesson.
Tuition Payments: Our fees are based on 38 weeks of lessons taught through the school year, with payments spread over 43 weeks to allow for a 1-week Thanksgiving break, a 2-week December holiday, and a 1-week Spring Break. They are payable in nine monthly installments, the first being due with completed registration deposit in July which will then be applied as the May payment at the end of the completed school year.
Adjustments are made in the first billing for the students who begin any time after our first week of lessons that starts on August 10, 2025. There are no deductions for missed lessons. Please see our makeup policy. Payments are due monthly upon receipt, beginning in September and continuing through May. The registration deposit pays the May payment at the end of the school year. You can pay directly from the invoice you receive through email, or you can set up recurring automatic monthly payments through the school year. *If you pay in full for the full school year, we can waive the registration fee which is equal to one month’s lesson payment.
If lessons are terminated before the end of the school year, lessons that were paid will not be refunded. No credits will be issued for early cancellation of lessons.
Any balance remaining after 30 days shall bear interest at the rate of 18% per annum. In the event any invoice or other monies payable pursuant to this agreement is collected by or through an attorney at law, or under the advice thereof, clients agree to pay all cost of collection and attorney’s fees in the amount equal to 15% of the outstanding balance of principal and interest.
Make-up Lessons: We offer make-up lessons for those lessons that fall on major religious holidays. We will not be teaching November 23-29, 2025 for the Thanksgiving break, December 21, 2025-January 3, 2026 for the winter break, nor March 15-21, 2025 for Spring Break.
Any lessons canceled by the Instructor will be made up. A substitute instructor may be used. Virtual make-up lessons may be offered.
Within the constraints of previously scheduled commitments, both by the teacher and the student, we will provide make-ups for those lessons that have had at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation. On a best-efforts basis, with no guarantee, we will also try to make up lessons missed through last-minute cancellations due to sickness, serious family situations, etc., and seasonal sports scheduling. There will be no more than one excused make-up allowed per month.
Any make-up should be made up by the end of the month. The teacher will offer one specific day each month for any make-ups remaining from the previous 30 days. If the lesson cannot be scheduled by this make-up day, it will be forfeited.
Make-up lessons are not given for: Last minute situations such as social events, visitors, last-minute trips, or others (those that fall short of the 48-hour cancellation period) or instructors arriving for the lesson with no student available.
Recitals: We hold several recitals throughout the year; participation is encouraged, but not required.
Books and materials: As students progress through their lessons, they will be required to purchase books and materials provided by B Amazing Music.
Parents’ responsibilities: Parents are responsible for (i) payment of tuition, (ii) supervision of student(s), (iii) providing a suitable environment for lessons, and (iv) any transportation of the student(s). Parents agree not to leave students unattended without adult supervision.
Transportation: B Amazing Music shall not be responsible for any transportation of students. In the event students receive transportation from teachers (which we discourage), B Amazing Music shall not be responsible, and by signing below you release B Amazing Music from any and all liability.
Teachers: Teachers are independent contractors under contract to provide instruction to B Amazing Music students, and all have undergone full background checks. Teachers have no other duties or authority, other than for instruction. B Amazing Music shall not be responsible for the actions of teachers.
Policies: Parents and students agree to abide by all reasonable policies as may be adopted from time to time by B Amazing Music.
